“Our best looking events guide thus far. I really like the way you took what was a fairly loose concept and delivered a cogent and aesthetically beautiful document that dovetailed nicely with the needs of the users. There is a particular finesse in Atto’s work that I haven’t seen in other designers, lifting it from the usual design that we see in the arts in Belfast.”

Belfast’s legendary Linen Hall Library came to us in 2007 asking us to design a single Summer events guide, so, well, that’s what we did.

We’re big fans of this historic nook, so we set out to reflect the sense of heritage and knowledge that it represents through an integrated look & feel.

By using vintage illustrations, classic book covers with bespoke patterns and a tone that reflects the attitude of the library, we inadvertently created what became the De Facto brand look and feel for all of their external communications.

Since then, we’ve worked on several events guides, exhibitions and design strategy for the LHL.
